Each inspector with MBI Melbourne holds a minimum qualification of Cert 4 in Building & Construction.

Typically each inspection takes approximately  45 -60 minutes. This does vary though depending on the age, size, construction type and condition of each property. .

Generally we just require 24 hours notice to arrange an inspection. Some inspections can be booked on the same day as the initial enquiry, depending upon current workload and the estate agents availability.

We are an environmentally aware company, as such all reports are send via email in a PDF format.

We do not mind if clients attend the inspection. Consent must be approved though through the relevant listing agent or builder prior to arrival.

Payment is generally via EFT, with invoices emailed along with pre inspection agreements prior to each inspection. Some inspectors do also have credit card facilities.

1. Once you have made contact either via phone or email, details of your name, phone number, email address and property address will be requested.
2. These will be forwarded through to your local Master Building Inspector who will provide a quotation.
3. Upon acceptable of their services, the inspector will make contact with the estate agent dealing with the sale.
4. Once the inspection is booked, you will be notified via text or email of the pre-purchase building inspection time.
5. A pre-inspection agreement along with an invoice will be sent prior to the inspection.
6. The invoice is payable after the inspection has occurred, prior to receiving the report.
7. Upon receipt of payment, the report will be emailed within 24 hours.
